Una maison milano a bijoux of a hotel with only 27 rooms /including 6 junior and 5 suites/ located few steps away from the duomo and palazzo reale where the guests are cared for and cosseted by their own butler /maison assistant/. Una maison milano provides an atmosphere of an exclusive residence in which there are not rooms of hotel but your private address in the milan city centre. All rooms are provided with high speed connection. Una maison milano is a building dating back from the beginning of the last century faithfully and restored in the original style. The interiors have been completely restored into a contemporary welcoming and elegant italian style. Garage facilities available off site. From september 1st/ 2012 onwards/ visitors to milan will be subject to a residence tax. The application of the tax will be proportional to the type of accommodation chosen/ be it hotel or other lodging /1 star- 1eur/ 2 stars- 2eur 3 stars- 3 eur/ 4 stars- 4 eur/ for a 4 star property the tax will be 4 eur per person per day of stay/ with the exception of residence accommodation where the tax will be applied for up to a maximum of fourteen consecutive overnight stays. There will be a number of the exemptions to this regulation/ including all residents in milan/ anyone under 18/ travellers under 30 staying in youth hostels/ university students under the age of 26 housed in university facilities. Also exempt are family members and carers /within the period of hospitalisation or out-patient care/ of people utilising medical facilities in milan and its province. Also exempted are on-duty members of the police and civil protection. The tax will be reduced by 50pct in low season periods identified this property was built in 1900 renovated in 2009

From malpensa airport if traveling by train/ take the malpensa express from the airport to the city centre. Stop at cadorna railway centre and then walk for about 0.8 km. By coach/ take malpensa shuttle from the airport to milano central railway station. Then take the yellow metro line/ direction san doanto and stop at duomo. From motorway -a4 from venice take the zara exit off the motorway and then follow the directions for the city centre. From railway central station take the yellow metro line/ direction san donato and stop at duomo.
