Timberline lodge is a national historic landmark hotel and ski lodge sitting atop mt hood in oregon at an elevation of 6000 feet. Hewn by public workers in 1937 into a monumental masterpiece with museum quality paintings- textiles- sculpted wood- stone and metal work- timberline has a firm respect for its tradition yet a forward leaning sense of innovation. Each of the 70 guestrooms has a unique rustic elegance with period furnishings and decor enhanced by modern amenities and amazing views. Additionally 6 luxury condominiums are located in the nearby village of government camp each fully furnished with gourmet kitchens fireplaces balconies and wifi. One of the most highly celebrated tourist attractions in oregon- timberline lodge boasts year-round skiing- first class cuisine- spacious event rooms- and distinguished hospitality.

Portland Intl Airport Airport Way to I-205 South 205 South to I-84 East The Dalles exit I-84 East to exit 16 Wood Village Right at stop sign on to 242nd Follow 242nd to Burnside approx. 3 mi. Left on Burnside U-Haul rentals on the corner Burnside turns into Hwy 26 East Follow Hwy 26 East to the Timberline Road turn-off about 40 mi. pass through the towns of Sandy Welches and Rhododendron Turn left on the Timberline access road follow the road to Timberline 6 mi. Road dead-ends in the Timberline parking lot. Hotel guests proceed to upper parking lot in front of main lodge. Ski Area guests park in lower main parking lot near day lodge.
