Djupadalen is a natural outdoor recreational area that borders the edge of Haugesund. The area is well utilised all year for walking and other activities. The walking trail along the west side of Eivindsvannet Lake is universally formed with a guardrail around large sections of the lake. From here there are many tracks that lead to Steinsfjellet Mountain and the rest of Byheiene. Access from the car park at Steinarskolen School.Degree of difficulty low.
