Description

Fifty-four spacious rooms and suites situated in nine separate villas provide the perfect overnight accommodations for carter plantation guests. Each villa contains six guest rooms that may be reserved either individually or in varying combinations, offering comfort, luxury, and convenience for both recreational and corporate outings.

Directions

Carter plantation can be reached from interstate 12 via either exit 32 springfield / albany or exit 35 baptist / pumpkin center and from interste 55 via exit 26 springfield / ponchatoula. For more detailed directions please see our website at carterplantation under location.

Recreation

Pga champion and louisiana native david toms has designed carter plantations spectacular golf course, an 18 hole,7,049-yard masterpiece that winds through thick stands of pine, live oak, cypress and tupelo gum trees. Great effort has been made to preserve the plantations wildlife habitats, and indigenous grasses and plants have been extensively incorporated into the landscaping. We also offer a large outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, and kiddy pool. Coming soon is our 1.5 mile nature trail which winds through cypress swamp land and natural bird and wild life preserves.
