The Balneario SPA Sicilia, at 760 meters of altitude, is located in the Canyon of the river Mesa (Selas, Guadalajara Reservoir of Tranquera) at 130 km of Zaragoza, 200km of Madrid and 300km of Valencia. It is situated at 45km of Calatayud (with services of the train AVE and bus at long and medium distance) and at 17 kilometers of the Monastery of Piedra. The sickles of the river and the adjacent gullies make up an impressive system of canyons consisting of very pronounced curves and of great circular width, full of cavities and shelters of considerable sizes. The spectacular gorges excavated by the river, with limestone walls, reddish and ocher-colored in a steppe area, with the only green patches of small forests that rises following the course of the river, are the trend of the landscape of the bank of the river Mesa.
