Description

Senato Hotel Milano is a brand new 4 stars boutique hotel located a few steps away from Duomo and Alla Scala Theatre. The owners, Ranza's family, decided to entirely restore their family-owned dwelling tracing back to the early years of '900 in order to offer a deep Milanese experience. The aim of the restoration was to technologically and aesthetically renovate the building located in via Senato, its inner court and its garden so to give them a new life preserving its history and tradition. The result is an ideal place where visitors coming to Milan for business or leisure trips can appreciate sobriety, elegance, innovations and a relaxing environment. The main court welcomes Guests with an amazing waterworks, the inner courtyard has become a quiet and shaded garden, the rooftop was converted in a secluded solarium and the former wine cellar was turned into a small gymnasium. The lobby and public areas were restored by using traditional materials such as marbles, wood and brass while guestrooms still reflect Milanese character and charm. The interior designer, Alessandro Bianchi personally monitored the restoration project and also created many of the objects that Guests can observe in every part of the Hotel by taking the Maestri Milanesi such as Piero Portluppi and Gio Ponti as examples.
