Directions

Capodichino The connections to Ischia are guaranteed by various companies of Ships and hidrofoils Port of departure are Pozzuoli, Naples Port of Mergellina, Beverello , Calata Porta di Massa (port of Naples). Pozzuoli is reached by the Naples ring road, exit Via Campana. From this harbor ferries depart only Medmar, Caremar direct to Ischia Porto and Ischia. The crossing takes about 1 hour. Mergellina is the marina of Naples, located on the waterfront in the famous Via Caracciolo. From here you can catch the hydrofoil to Ischia Porto( Alilauro Company). The crossing takes about 40 minutes. Hydrofoils can not embark on vehicles. The Beverello and The Calata Porta di Massa are two docks in the main port of Naples, they are close, but not very close. So better you better tell to taxi driver what is the precise starting dock. From Beverello hydrofoils Alilauro, Snav From Calata Porta di Massa Ferries depart: Caremar and Medmar.
