American Samoa is off the beaten track stunningly beautiful far away from crowds and the weather is balmy warm to tropical hot year round. Visitors from all walks of life enjoy the casual atmosphere and easy going Samoan culture. Being south of the Equator summer in American Samoa is October through May. It rains often hence the dense jungle foliage covering the island but its not cold and life goes on as usual even in a downpour. An umbrella can be useful though. The average rainfall is around 200 inches a year. Temperatures are high 70s to mid 90s with humidity high enough to curl your hair but it is the reason we have abundant and beautiful tropical gardens.
