The kiewa valley highway changes into the bogong high plains road - which leads to falls creek. - driving directions from the east - By car - travel on the great alpine road to omeo. Once in omeo - get onto the omeo hwy. Turn left onto bogong high plains road until you reach falls creek. During the winter season june to october - bogong high plains road between falls creek and omeo is closed. - driving directions from the south - By car - there is no direct south route into falls creek. Use the above direction from the east. By car - you need to travel on the great alpine road to omeo. Once in omeo - get onto the omeo hwy. Turn left onto bogong high plains road through until falls creek. During the winter season junoct- bogong high plains road between falls creek and omeo is closed. - driving directions from the west - By car from wangaratta - follow the great alpine road to bright.
