By car - ottoman hotel imperial istanbul is located near the city centre and is convenient to all major highways. 1 - leaving the airport, turn right at the first intersection - traffic lights- and follow signs to sirkeci / sahilyolu. You will come to a roundabout with a big fountain in the middle then turn left and follow the signs to sirkeci. 2 - drive straight along the seaside road for approximately 17 kilometres or 11 miles then turn left at the first sign for sultanahmet. 3 - go under the small iron railway bridge, then take the first right. Continuing to drive straight, slightly uphill all the way then you will see the arasta bazaar on your left, and later the sultanahmet mosque. 4 - when you approach the centre of sultanahmet, you will see the huge building of hagia sophia -st.sophia- museum. There is a narrow street between the hagia sophia museum and the main road with the tram way. We are on this narrow street facing the hagia sophia museum - caferaga street no 6 / 1.
