Description
The Norwalk Inn and Conference Center is an ideal base for a wide range of visitors because it matches a highly convenient location with the exceptional facilities of a full service hotel, including banquet halls, multiple dining areas, and 72 newly decorated rooms. Less than an hour from New York City, the Inn is located in southwest Connecticut, the gateway to New England. Bordered by the Gold Coast towns of Westport, Wilton, Darien and New Canaan, we're just 15 minutes from downtown Stamford and less than 40 miles from Westchester, LaGuardia, and John F. Kennedy International Airports. While adjacent to a historic town green, the Inn is only one quarter of a mile from both a Metro North station and the I95 highway. Once through our doors our guests will find over 4,000 square feet of celebration space in rooms capable of accommodating anywhere from 10 to 275 guests. Parties are complimented by magnificent ballroom dance floors with Rosso marble set out in a starburst pattern, and around this distinctive centerpiece guests will find a custom built brass chandelier, Florentine rugs, Empire style lighting fixtures, Verona wall paneling, and raised pattern wallpapering. None of these elements date back farther than our latest renovation, two years ago. The Norwalk Inn can readily support business conferences for up to 475 with free inhouse audio and visual equipment that might include film projectors, high definition televisions, long distance phone connections, and microphones. VIP local transportation can be arranged for all group events. Guests have the option of enjoying their meals either in their gathering areas or in adjacent dining spaces. In addition to our famed Adams Rib Restaurant we have a cocktail lounge and a glass covered patio area bordered by a mini aquarium and flower gardens with begonias and petunias. For overnight guests the Norwalk Inn offers more than 70 accommodations, including several deluxe and honeymoon suites. All rooDirections
