Description

The 4 star Nomad brings a new hotel experience to Basel- urban- cosmopolitan but still down-to-earth. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Grossbasel and provides 65 rooms spread over two buildings- in addition to an eatery- a fitness room and a sauna. The interior designers have created two different worlds. The Design Rooms in the former apartment building exude a warm and cosy atmosphere and the kilim carpets are hand-woven exclusively for Nomad in India. The Urban Unique Rooms in the new building- in the courtyard- ensure a cool and cosmopolitan atmosphere with the exposed concrete contrasting with the warm wood. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV- customized furniture by Gervasoni- innersprung mattresses and free WIFI which is offered throughout the entire hotel. The chairs are designed by the Zurich based designer- This Weber- and body care products by AESOP are at guests disposable in every room. Complimentary still and sparkling water are available on every floor at the water bar with seasonal fruits and black tea also included. The eatery is a melting pot for locals and guests alike. It is a casual- relaxed and unaffected place to eat- drink- talk and work. The kitchen provides new and surprising tastes from all over the world. Additional Information - Children age 11 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children aged 12 and over this are considered an adult and pay 20 CHF per night excluding breakfast. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
