The palace hotel bari has always been since its foundation the symbol of the hospitality in bari. It's the biggest hotel in the town with its 196 rooms, 18 of which are suites. The superb and wide hall in travertino marble is biedermeier styled with red and blue furnitures and precious ancient works of art. The reception desk welcomes you at the left side of the ground floor with the neoclassic retrospective work of joseph marie vien dedalo attacca le ali ad icaro. In the centre of the hall is the great stairway with the ercole libera prometeo by hoffman. On the right side the lobby bar features sofas and armchairs 50s style made of red and blue fabrics, with cosy small tables, 18th century paintings and venetian 17th century wall lights. Located on the same floor, the san nicola restaurant offers wonderful and rich breakfasts in its english style setting with red and blue flowered wallpapers. La terrazza murat panoramic restaurant is located the 7th floor overlooking the porta d'oriente and the old city of bari. This particular charming resaturant is 17th century furnished and has precious wooden wall lights of the 700s. The fitness area and the secure parking complete the offer of this unique hotel which considers comfort, high quality service, style and the attention to details its 4 stars.
