Htel Gabriel is nested in the heart of the Haut-Marais, between Place de la Rpublique, and Place des Vosges, in the so trendy 11th district of Paris. Its off-beat design fits perfectly the extravagant 11th, fizzing with life and original hot spots With its 6 floors and 39 bedrooms, the Hotel Gabriel Paris succeeds in finding the perfect balance of contemporary design and retro decor. The breakfast room offers several atmospheres: a muted and poetic ambiance surrounded by antics, an exotic corner with birds-of-paradise on the walls, and, apart from these, a small very British sitting room with its English couch and deep and enveloping leather seats. Above the bar sits imposingly a majestic golden clock, the hands of which have stopped as if time were suspended. In each of the 39 rooms, the guests will be delighted by the charming retro ballerinas, the four of them holding hands, in pairs, in circle, in rows, that they will find carved in Plexiglas everywhere in the hotel. Sometimes, they are subtly lighted from behind, adding a magical twist, just like on the bar where these emotional ballet dancers turn blue, green, orange and pink. This enchanting pattern was inspired by the Roaring Twenties, and soon became the hotels signature. While traveling from floor to floor in the silent and comfy glass elevator, you will admire the paintings by the Australian artist Mark Stuart. They colour the walls, the hushed corridors and, in the rooms, these art A peaceful atmosphere prevails in this monochrome setting, with a white oak wooden floor, a subtle mix of white and beige shades, velvet curtains in a honey-like color, overlooking the moon that lightens the Parisian rooftops. Velvet tartan rugs and pillows, in air force blue, plum or grey tones echo the lobbys shades, enhancing the bedrooms cozy atmosphere.
