The Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel Amsterdam is located in the old city centre of Amsterdam, along the beautiful Prinsengracht canal and just a short stroll from the Leidseplein entertainment area. Equipped with 42 comfortable guestrooms, all with a luxurious private bathroom and a flatscreen television. These rooms are bright, spacious and clean and they have a calming design with elegant furnishings. The founders A.W. Dikker and Henri Thijs started inhabiting this building in 1921 as a shop selling lobsters, oysters and caviar. It was renovated in 2001, together with the adjacent 18th century warehouse, and now houses the Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel in Amsterdam. This elegant hotel has the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful get-away. It furthermore has a cosy bar where an extensive selection of drinks is served and guests can unwind after a busy day in the vibrant city of Amsterdam. Restaurant Thijs, opened in 2011, is situated in the basement of the 18th century warehouse De Prins. THIJS offers you a French-Mediterranean kitchen, with a few international flourishes, and prefers to work with seasonal products. Meeting room: On the first floor of the 'De Prins', we offer a stylish designed meeting room with a beautiful view of the canal and a lounge area. The meeting room is equipped with a beamer with screen, wireless internet and a Nespresso machine. The room can also be hired for private dinings. The newly opened gym equipped with a cross-trainer, treadmill and exercise bike can be found on the first floor.
