Description
The existing Chestnut Hill Hotel building was constructed in 1894 to replace an earlier Inn which had been built in the same location in 1772 The Hotel has a total of thirty six rooms located in three separate buildings In the main building we have twenty seven rooms above the lobby area onfloors two through four The Post Office building is located just a few steps away from the main building it has five rooms three of which have kitchenettes The Post Office has a 1950s Andy Warhol pop culture theme and each bathroom is white marble The Carriage House building is also located just a few steps away from the main building and has four rooms The building was originally used as a carriage house and has been remodeled to retain the historic feel The rooms have reclaimed wood for the bathroom and closet doors and remnants of the old carriage house can be found throughout the building Please note that both the Post Office and Carriage House buildings do not have an elevator so the rooms in each location require a 15 step climbDirections
