A grand, colonial house in the refreshing hills of Malaysia, Cameron Highlands Resort is surrounded by strawberry fields and tea terraces with glorious views over the adjacent golf course, with a spa based on tea treatments. Scones and tea meet sashimi and tempura in dining rooms where many of the fruits and vegetables are grown in the lush, fertile gardens. The feel is distinctly colonial with tall French doors opening onto the fresh mountain air. Rooms and suites have four-poster beds, lots of silk, polished teak and a balcony overlooking rolling hills and forest. A visit to the local tea plantations is a must. Then, take one of the many trails to Robinson Falls, or play a round of golf on the 18-hole course. Directions

Kuala Lumpur Intl Airport Drive out from KLIA at exit 608 turn left onto Route E6 and continue northbound. While on Route E6 turn right to get to the Subang Interchange. After continuing on you will reach the Bukit Lanjan interchange, turn left passing through the Sungai Buloh interchange to get onto the North-South Expressway. Take the North-South Expressway and head up north. You will pass the following towns along the North-South Expressway: Rawang - Tanjung Malim - Slim River - Sungkai - Bikam - Bidor - Tapah - Gopeng - Simpang Pulai. There are two roads leading up to Cameron Highlands. One is the old road from Tapah town (exit 132) and another from Simpang Pulai (exit 137),which is the new route.
