the bow view lodge is the only 3 star canada select hotel with 58 rooms located directly on the beautiful bow river- where you can enjoy a river walk along a tree-lined path that offers an exceptional view of the surrounding mountains and occasional wildlife. We are only 2 blocks from downtown banff where you can enjoy all the finest shopping- dining and entertainment a world-class resort has to offer. Canadas banff national park- which includes breathtaking lake louise- is one of the most photographed spots in the world. When you see it for yourself- youll understand why. Everywhere you look - or ski- or hike- or climb- or canoe- or walk- or wander - is scenery thats impossibly magnificent the major gateway for banff is calgary international airport yyc and a regular airport shuttle service operates between the airport and the hotel. Our 58 guestrooms are decorated with beautiful- handcrafted solid oak furniture. Each room includes a coffee maker- convenience fridge- cable television- clock radio- direct dial telephone with data-port and voice mail system- a table with two chairs- large dresser- hair dryer- individual climate control- private bathroom with full bath. Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor have balconies. Ask us about our adjoining rooms. If more space is needed to accommodate those traveling with you- why not choose one of our 3 spacious family rooms- which have two separate bedrooms. The 1st bedroom comes with 1queen size bed- sitting area with a sofa hide-a-bed while the 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds. Treat yourself to luxury- when you book the only suite with river view in banff. This newly build river suite is available with 2 queen beds- private bathroom- microwave- sitting area with flat screen tv and large windows overlooking the bow river.

yyc-calgary international airport-88mi e when you leave the calgary international airport- follow barlow trail south until you have passed about four traffic lights or for about 5 km/ 3 miles. Take the exit onto 16th avenue west- direction to banff exit is on the right hand side. Follow 16th avenue west through the city of calgary. At the west end of calgary 16th avenue ends and is now called highway 1 west. Follow highway 1 west until you have passed the town of canmore. You will be required to stop at the banff national park gates and obtain a valid park pass. After the park gates keep following highway 1 west. Take the second exit into banff. This exit is called banff/mount norquay. At the end of the exit- turn left and cross over the highway. After crossing the train tracks and passing the hospital- you will find your first intersection with traffic lights. Make a right hand turn onto wolf street. Bow view lodge will be the hotel on the left side.
