The Hotel was constructed in 1989 and was remodeled in 2008. The Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel is situated just two miles away from the center of Corby, scenically placed next to Rockingham Castle. It is both a comfortable and convenient hotel in Corby, with a peaceful, rural setting that offers easy access to the A14, A1, M1 and M6. East Midlands, Birmingham and Luton airports are all close by, which makes the hotel just as pleasant to stop-over in as it is to spend a few days at, and also the ideal spot for an international wedding with guests flying in. If you are here for a family break, there is plenty to do nearby, to keep everybody happy. The hotel is close to Wicksteed Park, Twin Lakes theme park and Gullivers Kingdom for some adventure-filled days out. Rockingham Speedway is only two miles for any adrenaline junkies who fancy a day out on the racing track. You can experience the excitement of driving some of the worlds top supercars including Ferrari or Lamborghini. Fishing and cycling can be enjoyed at Rutland Water, while scenic walks through the Northamptonshire countryside are not to be missed. The hotel has 71 en suite bedrooms, with two four-poster suites and a divine Lordship suite boasting a Jacuzzi and a king size bed. All bedrooms have been recently refurbished, with each given a modern interior complete with satellite television, complimentary Wi-Fi, Freeview, direct-dial telephone, hair dryer and 24-hour room service for any midnight cravings.
