The Hotel was constructed in 1800 and was remodeled in 2008. BEST WESTERN Priory Hotel in Bury St Edmunds is a rare breed indeed. Direction to the property from general - sat nav postcode ip32 6eh as we have two entrances to our property, we would advise our guests telephone ahead to enquire as to which room they will be staying in especially if you have mobility needs that we can assist with. You can almost park outside your room and avoid unnecessary walking around our grounds to orientate yourself back to your car or to your bedroom. For guest allocated in rooms 30 to 41 we suggest using ip32 6ax as the postcode in your sat nav system. This postcode will also ensure that you come into the hotels main entrance to the front of the hotel. Direction to the property from ipswich - travel along the a14, leave at junction 43 exit marked bury st edmunds central a1302 / a1101 Take first exit left st the bottom of the sliproad signposted a1101 mildenhall and town centre At the next roundabout station. Stay in the left hand lane, proceed through the lights and the entrance to the hotel is the first on your right hand side. Direction to the property from london / cambridge - travel along the a14, leave at junction 42 exit marked bury st edmunds west b1106 / a1101 At the bottom of the slip road bear left. After approximately 1 mile turn right at the first mini roundabout signposted bury st edmunds a1101 and continue until you reach the esso petrol station on your right. The entrance to the hotel is immediately on your left. Station. Walk down the hill from the station keeping it on your left and turn left under the bridge onto fornham road. Keep walking until you reach the esso petrol station. The hotel signs will be visible on your right.
