The Hotel was constructed in 1991. When checking in at the Best Western Plus Hotel Bakeriet you will be greeted to a hotel centrally located in the middle of historical Trondheim. In the near vicinity you will find the train station, the airport express bus, the Nidaros Cathedral and other dear landmarks of beautiful Trondheim. We are known for our pleasant and informal atmosphere, and the most important meal of the day, breakfast, is included when staying with us. But, one does not need to wait long before another snack in the afternoon, when we serve something sweet to enjoy with coffee and in the evening you can enjoy a light evening meal buffet style. All this is yours when staying here with us at the Best Western Plus Hotel Bakeriet. We also have a spacious meeting room with direct access to our fantastic backyard and a small gym for those wanting to stay in shape on their travels. The Hotel Bakeriet is located in a building which throughout history has housed one of Northern Europes largest and most modern bakeries, up until 1970. From 1863 about 13,000 inhabitants of Trondheim got their daily bread from The Baker Halseth and his team. You can take part of that history through all the photos in our hotel, or just ask us, we love talking about our exciting history. Welcome, we are looking forward to greeting you.

Direction to the Property from Nidaros Cathedral - Follow Bispegata towards St. Jorgensveita and continue on Kjopmannsgata. Turn left at Olav Tryggvasons gate and then right at Krambugata, turn left at Brattorgata, you will find the Best Western Plus Hotel Bakeriet on your right hand side.
