Full Service - The Hotel was constructed in 1920 and was remodeled in 2006. The Best Western Motala Stadshotell is a classic hotel situated in the heart of Motala, close to Lake Vattern, Gota Kanal and to Europes largest lake beach, Varamon. We are within walking distance from shopping, waterfront and guest harbor. Close by are also the golf courses of Motala and Vadstena. All rooms are non-smoking, and many of them have a fantastic view of the lake. We do not accept pets. Our multilingual and service minded staff will give you personalized service. On the ground floor you find our restaurant, the gastro pub Berggrens Oltapp and Mat. They also serve our large breakfast buffet, which is something we are especially proud of. The conference and gala floor previously housed Moalas town hall. In the magnificent Anglasalen, Angels Hall, everything from conferences, exhibitions and balls, to banquets and local reviews can be arranged, underneath the cut glass chandeliers. Direction to the Property from The north. - On road E4, take Road 34 towards Motala. In Motala drive towards the city Centre and straight ahead through two roundabouts, follow Ostermalmsgatan. Drive left on Vadstenavagen and turn right into Platensgatan. After two blocks, turn right to Bispmotalagatan and after two more blocks right again on Prastgatan. After 50 meters the Best Western Motala Stadshotell is straight ahead by the Town Square. Direction to the Property from The south. - On road E4, take Road 32 towards Motala. By Motala South, take right and follow Vadstenavagen towards the City Centre. Turn left to Platensgatan and after two blocks turn right to Bispmotalagatan. After two more blocks turn right again on Prastgatan. After 50 meters the Best Western Motala Stadshotell is straight ahead by the Town Square.
