The Hotel was constructed in 1808 and was remodeled in 2001. The BEST WESTERN Hotel Scheelsminde was formerly one of Denmarks most beautiful manors, built in 1808 by Christian Paul Scheel, a prominent member of the Judiciary. Today the historical building is the setting of a modern International hotel, surrounded by a large park, an idyllic retreat in Aalborg, North Jutland. The hotel offers free parking and a wellness center with an indoor pool, sauna and spa. Over the years the hotel has been carefully renovated and improved, but its special charm and atmosphere have been preserved still. The 92 modern rooms are all with private bathrooms with shower and hair dryer. Furthermore, all rooms have a desk, blackout curtains, coffee and tea facilities as well as open-line telephone, radio, flat-screen TV with cable channels and free Wi-Fi. Room service is available from 0700 to midnight and beverage machine is available at reasonable prices. International restaurant with seating for 80 guests and with outstanding panoramic view over the large park is opened daily all year round.
